This gives an engaging account of the challenges our colleagues in the NHS face when providing vital rehabilitation for patients who have had COVID-19. As a neuro-rehabilitation physiotherapist myself, I have seen first hand how physiotherapists have a crucial role in caring for patients with stroke and other complex disability or illnesses when helping them regain their quality of life. COVID-19 adds a further layer of complexity to that journey. I appreciate the skill and the compassionate work of our NHS colleagues who tirelessly help these patients every day.
