We are thrilled to welcome Kirsty Hunter (nee Kirsty Myles) to The Physio Studio! We have always had high calibre physiotherapists in our team, and Kirsty continues this tradition.
Kirsty is a Chartered Physiotherapist with a special interest in sports injuries due to her Master’s Degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health, coupled with her strong sporting pedigree, predominantly in rowing, representing Great Britain at junior through to senior level.
Whether your pain or injury stems from everyday life or sport, Kirsty uses an individualised problem solving approach for each patient to uncover the root of the pain. She also has a keen interest in looking at movement and bio-mechanical dysfunctions. Exercise forms an integral part of Kirsty’s treatment, alongside instrument assisted soft tissue mobilisation (IASTM), acupuncture and manual therapy techniques.
As well as working at The Physio Studio Kirsty works as a contractor for the Great Britain Rowing Team and is an Associate Lecturer at Buckinghamshire New University.
Kirsty will be available every day, for both mornings and evenings clinic sessions. Read more about her clinical interests and further sporting achievements in our 'Meet The Team' page.
